About Us

<a href="http://www.fathersreunited.co.uk/private/"><!-- not for robots --></a>

The Fathers Reunited website was set up by Mark Chatterton, a father of three children, after one of his friends lost contact with his children after divorce. It was initially designed primarily for fathers in the UK and Ireland to make contact with their lost sons and daughters and vice-versa, but is now open to anyone in the world. There are many different reasons why fathers and mothers lose contact with their sons and daughters. This might be as a result of separation and divorce, being in prison, working abroad, being in the armed forces, through armed conflict, or through a child running away from home.

The website has been designed so that other relatives like mothers, brothers, sisters, grandparents and even friends can leave their names so that they can be contacted by those who have disappeared from their lives.
